How to make Easy Oatmeal Bake with Spent Grains
- Mix dry ingredients together- oatmeal, baking soda, cinnamon (optional), salt
- Add spent grains
- Next, add wet ingredients- milk, maple syrup or honey, applesauce, vanilla, eggs
- Lastly, add chocolate chips
- mix all ingredients together until well combined and spread into a greased 9×13 pan
Enjoy that warm chocolaty goodness!
Notes:
I suggest to stick with the maple syrup or honey here because it is a natural sugar and also a wet ingredient. If you need to substitute for a dry sweetener here note that you may need to add extra milk to your batch
Any milk substitute should work fine.
